OUR VISION
Our vision for New Mt. Vernon has it a hot bed of
daily activity with programs and ministries functioning to spread the
gospel, to take up the ministry of reconciliation and to provide genuine
service to our members and to the community. We envision New Mt. Vernon
as a growing and vibrant, ministry standing in this community as a
beacon of salvation and hope and compassion and caring, exhibiting the
love of Christ to all .
Our God has a plan for our lives individually and
collectively (Jeremiah 29:11). Now is the time for true believers to
rise up together in the name of the Lord in obedience to fulfill His
mission for us. Time is far spent, and His return is sooner than we
think, blessed we will be if when He returns He finds us doing as He has
commanded. The vision shall come to pass!

that exists between New Mt. Vernon and the community of Royal Oak
Township through an expanded community outreach program that
includes a food service facility that serves at least one hot meal
daily for a nominal fee, a full service food bank and clothing
closet for those needy in the community; to promote economic
development through a Community Development Program that attracts
new businesses, develops partnerships between major corporations
and local schools and an Entrepreneurial Program that trains folks
with a desire to start and grow their own businesses |
