MISSION STATEMENT It is our mission and purpose to win the lost to Jesus Christ, and build the lives of people for Christ through a holistic ministry of the Word of God so that they become responsible, reproducing and biblically indoctrinated ambassadors for Him. |
Sharing the love of Christ is what New Mt. Vernon is all about...the great unending love of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of His people. New Mt. Vernon offers to all the security and salvation of the unconditional love of Jesus Christ that is reflected in a warm, caring fellowship, the ministry of the preached Word of God and in strong biblical training for the entire family. We share the love of Christ in our testimony to the unsaved and in the bond of fellowship with those who are saved. God has a plan and purpose for your life, and you will never find your purpose or step into your destiny apart from relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ; you will never live the abundant and eternal life He has for you outside of Christ. Here at New Mt. Vernon our four-phased mission includes: PREACHING Mark 16:15) TEACHING (Matthew 28:19) PRAYING (Luke 18:1) WITNESSING (Acts 1:8). Come with us as we worship and serve the One True God, the God of the Bible.
